Do-it-up Blue! Create a New Voice for Mental Health in your community.

Here is a list of the Blue Awareness Activities in which communities and schools can participate.  The Blue Awareness Activities will be recognized in a celebration at the Blue Carpet Gala on May 7th, 2015.

Registration Process

Step 1: Choose an activity for your school, group, organization or individual person to do!

Step 2: Register your activity at so we know to keep an eye out for your activity!

Step 3: Have fun with your activity and don’t forget to take some pictures or videos to add to your submission!!

Step 4: Submit a write up of how your activity went, along with a few pictures or videos so that the committee has something to look at. The deadline to submit your activity is April 15, 2015.

Step 5: Get ready to attend the Gala!

The Gala will be held on May 7, 2015 at the St. Pierre Recreation Centre. Details to follow!

When making your online submission, you will be asked to confirm that you have obtained the consent of all persons appearing in any of your photos/videos. This Photo/Video/Audio Release Form can be printed, and used by you to obtain the required consent.

Blue Awareness Activities

Blue Blossoms – any of the activities listed below, but completed by children 5 years and under. Please see submission requirements for this activity under each individual activity.

Blue Expressions – Any form of artistic expression. This can be in the form of artwork such as drawings, paintings, clay art, pottery, posters, gardening etc. The sky is the limit!!

Blue Performance – Any type of performance or presentation. Examples include public speaking, poetry, videos, music, songs, skit, play, choir etc. Get Creative!!!

Blue Day– Blue Day – For communities, businesses, organizations, individuals and schools – host your own Blue Day with Blue Awareness Activities.  Encourage everyone to wear blue, have a blue bake sale, blue game, blue garden or flowers, etc. How much blue awareness can you incorporate into one day?
